| How often do the Meters need to be recalibrated? |
We do not have a recommended period. However, based on
experience of testing returned units, we would not expect
any significant change in accuracy in 10 years. |
Are ECAs (Enhanced Capital Allowances) available
on you Meters? |
|
Do your Meters conform to the requirements of
Part L of the Building Regulations? |
|
| Can the CTs be earthed? |
If you are using Meters with standard 5 Amp (or 1 Amp) CTs,
then one side of the CT – commonly S2 – can be earthed
If you are using the Retro-fit Meters with voltage output
current sensors, these must not be earthed |
How long a cable can I use to connect the
CTs to the Meter? |
For standard CTs with a 5 Amp or 1 Amp output, this is
determined by the VA load that the CT can drive and the
resistance of the cable. A Technical note on this subject is
available – Click Here
Exceeding this load will lead to measurement errors |
