How often do the Meters need to be recalibrated? We do not have a recommended period. However, based on
experience of testing returned units, we would not expect
any significant change in accuracy in 10 years.
Are ECAs (Enhanced Capital Allowances) available
on you Meters?

Do your Meters conform to the requirements of
Part L of the Building Regulations?

Can the CTs be earthed?

If you are using Meters with standard 5 Amp (or 1 Amp) CTs,
then one side of the CT – commonly S2 – can be earthed

If you are using the Retro-fit Meters with voltage output
current sensors, these must not be earthed

How long a cable can I use to connect the
CTs to the Meter?

For standard CTs with a 5 Amp or 1 Amp output, this is
determined by the VA load that the CT can drive and the
resistance of the cable. A Technical note on this subject is
available – Click Here

Exceeding this load will lead to measurement errors
